  • Minimum sixteen (16) years of education from HEC-recognized local or international University, ideally with a degree in marketing, international business, or strategic planning.
  • MBA from HEC-recognized top local universities or international universities is highly desirable

.Experience:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of demonstrable experience in marketing, strategic partnership development, brand development, and business development.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a relevant leadership role is required.
  • Relevant international experience and demonstrable expertise in developing B2B, G2B, and G2G international relations will be advantageous.

Jobs Description:

  • Responsible for formulating marketing, branding and business development strategies, and lead the business development efforts for Pakistan’s IT & IT enabled Services (ITeS) sector internationally.
  • Ensure market intelligence to support strategic decision making, gained through monitoring marketing and business development strategies of competitor countries for IT & ITeS sector, their products and services, sales, policies, and incentives being offered to IT & ITeS sector and  Ensure new business development for IT & ITeS sector from clients globally, organize inbound and outbound trade delegations, exhibitions, events and roadshows, and implement country branding and perception building for Pakistan and its IT & ITeS sector internationally as an attractive Tech destination and possess in-depth understanding of business of technology, global technology industry, and technology industry’s products, services, and future roadmaps.
  • Responsible for marketing and business development strategy implementation, having the key responsibility for attracting international clientele for Pakistan’s IT and ITeS sector, building new business channels for the IT & ITeS sector on the basis of Geostrategic alignment of IT & ITeS exports, identifying and developing opportunities to break into new markets and enhance existing market reach, actively engaging Pakistani diaspora, and ensuring a highly professional relationship with the potential investors and clients of IT & ITeS sector, various decisions makers within the government and private sector, as well as relevant public and private entities abroad. Forge relationships with potential buyers of technology products and services globally, and develop international partnerships at B2B, G2B and G2G levels.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the international technology market and in depth knowledge of IT & ITeS sector in Pakistan. Demonstration of similar experience internationally will be advantageous.
  • Responsible for media, research and publications including national and international research studies, leveraging social and traditional media, building relationships with international media agencies, consulting firms and global organizations to develop a strong brand and perception of Pakistan.
  • Responsible for budget preparations and establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve national objectives of driving ICT export growth, acquiring new customers in current and potential export destinations, and increasing business volumes from existing global clients.
