Civil Engineer-CPSP, Karachi

College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, Karachi          Qualification:

• BS / BE in civil engineering from a recognized institution
• Additional short courses in project management, supply chain management etc. will be preferred    

Experience:

• Sufficient relevant experience in civil works / project management, infrastructure maintenance, preferably in institutional or organizational settings
• Strong knowledge of building codes, structural systems and entities with proficiency in MS Office, Auto CAD, MS Project and other project management tools.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise civil maintenance and infrastructure development projects at CPSP IIQ and regional centers
• Plan, execute and monitor construction, renovation and repair works in coordination with architects, consultants and contractors and conduct periodic inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance and prepare detailed project reports, cost estimates, work schedules and progress updated
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, safety standards and institutional policies and provide technical guidance.
