- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Professional certification or licensure in estimating or project management
Experience:
- 7 to 8 years of experience including minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements for estimating purposes.
- Analyze and evaluate project risks and opportunities to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction industry trends, materials, and costs. Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process.
