Consultant of Ophthalmology-Kuwait

Taiba Hospital, Kuwait                                                                        Qualification: 

• Doctorate. Specialized in pediatrics ophthalmology.

Experience:

• Minimum 9 years’ experience  Good administrative and managerial skills. Good hand-eye coordination.
• Expert working knowledge of the diseases, functions, and anatomy of the eye. Strong physics and math skills, and excellent medical knowledge.    

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides routine care like vision testing and prescribing glasses and contact lenses. Performs corrective surgeries, such as repairing injuries and corneas and removing cataracts. Performs advanced surgical procedures, such as a keyhole or laser surgery. Ensures high-quality patient care.
• Conducts routine eye examination. Performs tests on patients.
• Prescribes initial eye care products. Performs minor surgeries.
• Provides specialized eye treatments and therapy and Prescribes various treatment plans.
• Informs Optometrist about patient condition. Instructs interns, residents, or others in ophthalmologic procedures and techniques
• Develops or implement plans and procedures for ophthalmologic services
