- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contract Management, Construction Management, or a related field
Experience:
- 2 to 8 years of experience with Proven experience in contract management in the construction or contracting industry in Dubai. Strong knowledge of contract law and construction contract administration.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review, understand, and interpret contractual agreements for construction projects in Dubai.
- Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and obligations.
- Identify and assess potential risks, issues, and disputes related to contracts and take proactive measures to address them. Maintain a contract management system to track and update all contract-related documentation and correspondence.
- Manage change orders and variations to contracts, including the negotiation of pricing and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and deliverables to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
- Handle claims, disputes, and conflicts arising from contract discrepancies and work towards their resolution. Ensure that all parties involved in a contract adhere to performance, quality, and safety standards. Evaluate and make recommendations on contract performance, including cost and schedule variances. Provide guidance on contract-related legal matters and liaise with legal counsel when necessary.
- Prepare regular contract status reports for management and clients
