Community Health Directorate (CHD), Indus Hospital, Karachi Qualification:
- BA/BSc social sciences/nursing/other related field
- Training in public health/BScN preferred/midwifery preferred
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of public health/social sector experience
- Support senior manager maternal health in provision of oversight to midwifery programs in PCP South as required
Job Responsibilities:
- Support MNCH manager and director in oversight of public health programs at Sindh sites including FP, malnutrition, immunization and others as needed.
- Conduct site visits and needs assessment for potential MNCH sites
- Development and implementation of MEAL tools for quality control
- Ongoing training and development and skills assessment and management for CMWs Management of data and analysis
- Monitoring visits to Midwifery ANC clinics, Labor rooms and public health sites as needed Strengthening and engagement with referral networks at MNCH program sites at PCP clinics
- Assist in curriculum and content development at midwifery program sites for CMEs of midwives and MNCH community health workers Public health program development and management with MNCH team: lactation, family planning, nutrition in pregnancy, postnatal home visits etc.
- Liaise with Midwifery coordinator North, Research Associate Midwifery, and MNCH team as needed
