• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from HEC recognized institution     

Experience 

• At least3 Years of relevant banking experience. Skills: Database Monitoring, Database Designing Skills, Database Applications  

Job responsibilities:  

• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
• Monitor database performance, resource utilization, and availability, and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies as needed. Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for databases to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Perform regular backups, monitor backup processes, and test recovery procedures to minimize data loss and downtime in the event of a failure. Monitor database health and performance using monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities, and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Investigate and troubleshoot database-related problems, such as performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and data corruption, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch deployments in coordination with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
