- At least Bachelors in Environmental Science or Engineering / Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent from recognized university.
- Plus NEBOSH and /or OHSAS Certification.
Experience:
- 5-8 year relevant experience in a manufacturing concern with at least 3 years at a managerial position.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the organization complies with all the legal requirements, avoiding potential fines and legal issues.
- Ensure the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company’s HSE Systems in accordance with the corporate guidelines.
- Develop safety and environmental policies and procedures. – Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations to identify and address potential hazards. Lead the safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Develop emergency response plans and train employees on how to respond to various emergencies such as fires, chemical spills or natural disasters.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization and collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
- Provides technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects
