- MBA/Master/Bachelor degree with 16 years of qualification in Management/Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
Experience:
- 10 years post qualification procurement experience, including 3-5 years as Procurement Manager particularly in B2B, with knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations Authority Rules and related rules & regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of PMDC Procurement strategy and design processes and procedures to support business goals.
- Lead development and management of procurement budget in line with the business goals.
- Ability to lead source new vendors and negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
- Develop and ensure implementation of policies, procedures and system that are both, optimized and in strict compliance and adherence to PPRA rules and applicable regulations. Set policy guidelines for cost effective procurement process and ensure procurement accordingly and Perform risk assessment on’ potential contracts and agreements.
- Reduce reliance on single bidders/suppliers
