• Completed higher secondary education, high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Formal training or certification in IT, IT Service Desk Administrator or any relevant field is desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL
• Foundation in IT Service Management is an asset.  

Experience:

• Minimum of eight (8) years of working experience in designing, implementing and supporting modern web applications, content management platforms mandatory, IT Consultancy and IT Service Management, preferably within the UN system or in a multicultural environment is required

Jobs Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, testing, and managing all UNIDO websites and Contribute to team effort in training and web development as well as drafting web-related documentation.
• Act as point of contact for responding, resolving, escalating, and tracking incidents and service requests related to UNIDO’s web systems received by the UNIDO IT Service desk.
• Manage user accounts for various IT web systems.
• Maintain UNIDO public web pages, Open Data Platform, Intranet, Top Desk and other web application systems. Coordinate and contribute to the continuous improvement of UNIDO’s IATI publication and other Open Data/Transparency initiatives.
• Receive and analyze ICT security alerts regularly and take corrective measures as per the established procedures for the IT Service Desk.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of DIG SOPs, Work Instructions as well as work-related documents. Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT systems user guides, manuals and FAQs. Prepare DIG outreach materials, including announcements, intranet articles, newsletters, key messages, and other communication materials.
