- PhD in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce or any other relevant subject from HEC recognized institute OR
- Master’s Degree in Commerce / Business Administration / Accounting/ Finance/ Economics from HEC recognized institute OR
- Member of recognized body of professional accountants / CFA from HEC recognized institute
Experience:
- 14 years relevant experience preferably at large national/ multinational corporate organization or public sector entities including 05 years’ experience at senior management positions OR
- 18 years relevant experience preferably at large national/ multinational corporate organization of public sector entities including 05 years’ experience at senior management positions OR
- 18 years relevant experience preferably at large national/ multinational corporate organization or public sector entities including 05 years’ experience at senior management positions.
- Hands on experience of d& IPSAS. Knowledge of ERP working environment including electronic database maintenance ealing with tax and corporate laws.
- Understanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS), IFRS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as lead of Central Monitoring Unit. Work in coordination with relevant government Ministries (including Privatization Commission) to steer government’s triage reforms.
- Oversee portfolio and monitor financial and non-financial information of SOEs.
- Assess business plans and performance against budgets on an ongoing basis and determine key deliverables.
- Present findings and provide information to relevant forums along with specific recommendations to safeguard government’s interest.
