  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Document Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2 to 7 years of experience with Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction or contracting industry. Familiarity with document control software and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a document control system for construction projects. Receive, log, track, and distribute project documents, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ensure that all project documents are organized, filed, and labeled in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Monitor document submissions to verify completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Manage electronic document storage systems and maintain document databases.
  • Maintain and update a master document register, tracking revisions, versions, and document status. 
  • Ensure compliance with document control policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on document control activities, including document status, distribution, and document-related issues.
