- BS/BE Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- 4 to 6 years experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that safe & trouble free operation, maintenance and upkeep of electrical & fire system.
- Ensure that PPM routines are carried out as per schedule in professional & safe manner.
- Maintain PPM & other documentation (e.g. service records, requisitions, work performed, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and / or conveying information.
- Supervise & direct electrical maintenance technicians as may be required for the purpose of ensuring that assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.
- Maintain tools, supplies and / or equipment (e.g. ampere meter, volt meter, cutters, drills, test equipment, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and ensure equipment is in safe operating condition and Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Inspect electrical & fire prevention systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and equipment, and fixtures and Ensure proper usage and handling of electrical testing equipment and tools.
