- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications in Quality Control or Electrical Inspection.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of work experience in electrical quality control, preferably in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Experience with electrical testing and inspection equipment. Physical ability to perform site inspections and work in construction environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests on electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Identify and report any defects or non-compliance issues, and work with the project team to develop and implement corrective actions. Review electrical design documents and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Monitor and document electrical installation activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards. Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment. Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and client representatives for quality control activities. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on electrical quality control matters.
