Jobs Description:

  • Assist and provide operational support to the Alumni Affairs team and Execute administrative tasks including; forms/survey design, maintaining alumni databases (updating data), information sharing with concerned faculty and staff.
  • Initiate and facilitate opportunities to promote alumni such as; newsletters, social media posts and testimonials, manage alumni WhatsApp groups and communities, adding alumni to both the physical and virtual wall.
  • Facilitate alumni connections with students, faculty, and departmental connections for collaborative opportunities.
  • Expand and strengthen connection with the alumni community through Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram & Twitter(X). Liaison with CDC, Examinations, and other relevant departments to facilitate alumni technical concerns including; acquiring alumni card, answering queries and following up on bona fide letters, degrees & transcripts, registering alumni companies & startups with IBA to validate student internships.
  • Organize & attend networking and administrative alumni-related events and meetings such as; alumni advisory council meetings, alumni dinners and lunches, Grand Alumni Reunions, Annual Alumni Excellence Awards Ceremony.
  • Organize social events with alumni to foster connection and networking opportunities in the community including; dinners, chapter and class reunions Identify countries with significant alumni concentrations and initiate alumni chapters. Also, provide logistical support for alumni chapters by adding alumni to relevant WhatsApp groups.
  • Organize and moderate alumni connect sessions for student mentorship and networking.
  • Complete alumni-related tasks assigned by relevant faculty and staff such as; survey design, circulation, and analysis for alumni feedback on programs FYP projects, providing alumni information for open houses and freshmen orientations.
  • Being 1st point of contact for Alumni pain points and experiences escalating issues for departmental interventions.
