Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Accounting & Reporting: Post journal entries in the General Ledger (GL) modules. Prepare monthly accounts and other financial reports for AOC. Prepare and report POL accounts and consolidated accounts. Prepare analysis reports for the Board of Directors (BOD). Manage the printing and publication of quarterly and annual accounts. Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits.
- POLGAS Accounts Management: Maintain and monitor POLGAS accounts. Prepare POLGAS Profit & Loss Accounts. Review POLGAS suppliers’ balances.
- Related Party Transactions & Reconciliations: Prepare related party transactions for BOD reporting. Record and review journal entries for related party transactions. Review payments to and receipts from associated companies. Reconcile Inter-Clearing Accounts. Suppliers & Advances Management: Review suppliers’ balances, advances to suppliers, and security deposits. Monitor staff personal balances for loans and other recoveries. Conduct monthly review of staff loans and house rent advances. Calculate yearly interest on loans and yearly WPPF payments.
- Employee Recoveries: Calculate and process monthly recoveries of staff loans, house rent advances, utilities, and fuel expenses.
