By Institute of Business Administration, Karachi Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering or in a related discipline from an HEC recognized university/institute. .
Experience:
- A. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Auto CAD and capable of preparing layout plans and technical drawings. Strong project management, team coordination, and vendor management skills.
Jobs Description:
- Oversee general maintenance operations across the institute including buildings, landscapes, offices, hostels and residential facilities.
- Coordinate repair, renovation, and rehabilitation projects for civil maintenance work in institutional and residential facilities. Supervise routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure smooth functioning.
- Conduct regular inspections and mobilize teams for repair and restoration works.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and ensure quick resolutions. Ensure maintenance of key facilities such as: Main Campus, Residential facilities, Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel and Offices & Academic Blocks
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical documentation for maintenance, renovation, and refurbishment projects. Manage layout and design drawings on Auto CAD for furniture, space planning, and renovation-related works. Oversee material procurement through proper channels (e.g., PRs) and ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards and Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to execute maintenance and infrastructure projects on time.
- Maintain complaint logs through the CMS (Complaint Management System) and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and evaluate Tender Documents, contracts, and vendor agreements for maintenance services.
- Responsible for preparation, submission, and monitoring of the General Maintenance Budget.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Analyze maintenance requests and troubleshoot effectively.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Train and guide maintenance team members on procedures and safety protocols
