- MBA (Finance) /M Com
Experience:
- At least five (5) years’ experience in the same position.
- A Public sector experience will be an added advantage.
- Must be conversant with MS Office applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- All entries should be put to correct GL account, Components and activity codes.
- Special attention should be given to Fixed Assets, advances, lease payments and retention money.
- Management and reconciliation of Cashbook.
- Process supplier payments in a timely manner, ensuring correct application of Internal Control procedures and Ensure withholding tax (Income and Sales tax) is properly deducted, and recorded where applicable from supplier invoices.
- Ensure that transaction processing is completed as per monthly (Budget & Accounts) timetable.
- Manage all accounting related functions for the assigned project and Process vendor invoices accurately and within assigned timeline.
- Process sub-contractor payments accurately and within assigned timeline.
- Collect and track compliance documents.
- Producing monthly cost reports for the project and assists FABS Directorate / Project Director, including reporting on project variances of actuals v/s budgets, and updating forecasts and Reconcile monthly accounts and maintaining project ledger.
