- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or relevant certification CA/ACCA/ CPA
Experience:
- Minimum of eight years of working experience with last two years as a Finance Manager.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and Financial Reporting. Working knowledge of GAAP principles and Local Tax. Strong knowledge of accounting software- QuickBooks will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office
Jobs Responsibilities:
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, internal controls, and conducting regular assessments/ updates of financial policies & procedures.
- Maintains an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Overall management of vendor & employee payments.
- Grants Management & timely financial reporting to the grantors as per requirements.
- Ensuring compliance of contractual obligations.
- Responsible in planning and forecasting activities to achieve business and Company goals.
- Liaise with other Group Companies ensuring financial governance and timely grant reporting to donors.
- Manage and coordinate with external auditors for annual and program audits.
- Manage and supervise the financial team.
- Prepare financial deliverables for higher management meetings
