- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology or relevant field
Experience:
- 4 to 6 years experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all food prepared, stored, and served complies with hygiene and safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and update the food safety program in line with statutory, regulatory, and ISO 22000 standards.
- Conduct supplier audits against HACCP systems, identify corrective actions, and escalate major concerns.
- Monitor and maintain Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points, PRPs, risk assessments, and related controls.
- Provide training to staff and management on food safety, pest control, hygiene, and safe operational practices.
- Perform regular inspections to identify food safety breaches and enforce corrective measures.
- Identify potential hazards and establish preventive controls.
- Review operational procedures and recommend improvements in safety and performance.
- Keep food safety records accurate, up to date, and ensure staff are trained in documentation management.
- Act as the primary contact for food handlers and food safety authorities and Ensure compliance of catering, food services, and production areas with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Address issues of non-compliance promptly and enforce preventive/corrective actions.
- Conduct risk-based assessments to safeguard food quality and safety.
