- Minimum 16 years of Education with in earth sciences preferably Geophysics
Experience:
- 12 years’ experience in in multi-disciplinary activities including exploration, drilling, production and reservoir management of upstream petroleum business with at least five years at a Senior Management Position in an upstream E&P operated company
Jobs Description:
- Manage and coordinate technical work programs of Joint Venture Operating companies related to geology, geophysics, drilling and reservoir engineering.
- Risk management plan and recommend participation of GHPL in exploration ventures in promising areas.
- Recommend Farm-in strategy in new exploration and development ventures. Supervise monitoring of all exploration and production activities of the operating companies in joint ventures and advise the higher management on in-house evaluation on G&G studies, technical work programs, exploration / appraisal / development well review/approvals, license/D&PL extensions, reserves booking, reservoir studies, production profiles of different participating JVs for effective decision making. drilling approvals for planned wells, drilling supervision of all drilled wells. Provide technical review of documents related to commercialization of discovered hydrocarbons including appraisal programs, DoC, FDPs etc.
- Provide planning, fiscal coordination, budget preparation and resource management.
- Maintain a consultative relationship with senior professionals of other departments in the Company.
- Training and Development of the staff to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization
