- Bachelors or Master’s or PhD in geophysics or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of work experience with at least 5-10 years in unconventional tight sand plays across different unconventional hydrocarbon basins required in geophysical exploration and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of geophysical principles and techniques.
- Experience working in the oil and gas, mining, or environmental sectors.
- Proficiency in geophysical software and modeling tools.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct geophysical surveys using various techniques such as seismic, gravity, and magnetic methods.
- Analyze and interpret geophysical data to identify subsurface structures and geological formations.
- Use computer models and software to simulate and visualize geophysical data and Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during fieldwork and Manage and maintain geophysical equipment and instruments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior geophysicists and field technicians.
