Experience:
- 8 to 10 years experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities and patient care within the assigned unit/area.
- Develop, implement and monitor infection control policies and safe patient care practices and Prepare, supervise and adjust staff duty rosters, attendance, and leave schedules.
- Conduct orientation, competency assessment and ongoing training for new and existing staff and Evaluate, plan, and monitor nursing care standards, ensuring quality documentation and reporting.
- Manage patient flow, staffing ratios and resource allocation based on patient needs and case severity.
- Handle patient and family concerns, ensuring smooth communication with the medical team and other departments. Maintain adequate stock, supplies and medicines, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of the unit. Supervise the maintenance, functionality, and cleanliness of equipment and facilities. Act as role model and clinical resource, assisting in complex procedures and surgeries when required.
- Monitor quality of patient care through daily rounds, reports, audits, and feedback mechanisms. Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports on unit performance, achievements, and challenges.
