Head of Legal-ZTBL, Islamabad

For Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, Govt of Pakistan, Islamabad        Qualification:

• Law Degree from HEC recognized Law School/University. Solicitor, Bar-at law, LLM or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Applicant having less than 45% marks (in conventional system) or CGPA less than 1.4/4.0 or 2.4/5.0 or equivalent in degree on the basis of which application is being submitted, are not eligible to apply 

Experience:

• More than 15 years of overall experience (post qualification) including 5+ years of experience at comparable position.

Job Description:

• Support and assist with the policy making and operational matters related to all legal matters with the key objective of protecting and promoting the interest of the bank.
• Review decisions of the courts with specific reference to those effecting ZTBL and recommend remedial policies.
• Align all banking activities with current and possible new legislations and ensuring compliance of same at departmental level.
• Preparation and vetting of legal documents as per requirement and law of the country.
• Identify deficiencies/ discrepancy with regards to circulars issued by various departments
