• General Nursing Diploma (03 Years)/ BSc-N

Experience: 

• 1 to 3 years experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) by collecting and analyzing relevant data.
• Monitor and track infection trends, identifying potential outbreaks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Provide education and training to healthcare personnel on infection prevention practices.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new staff and ongoing training for existing staff. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the source and cause of outbreaks.
• Visits in assigned units and monitor compliance with infection prevention protocols, including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and environmental cleaning.
• Serve as a resource for healthcare personnel on infection-related matters. Provide education to patients and their families on infection prevention measures.
• Communicate effectively to address concerns and questions related to infections. Prepare and submit regular reports on infection rates, prevention efforts, and other relevant data to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders and Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure readiness for response during public health emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to infection control activities.
