- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Certified Welding Inspector – AWS CWI, CSWIP
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in welding inspection of automatic welding for offshore pipeline laying Strong knowledge of welding processes, material traceability, and NDE.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of equipment, materials, and structures to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Develop and implement inspection plans and protocols based on project requirements.
- Analyze inspection data and generate reports on findings, including recommendations for corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects or nonconformists and assist in developing solutions and Provide training and guidance to staff on inspection processes and procedures.
