• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/law.
• Additional engineering/legal background as applicable is an advantage.

Experience:

• 15 to 20 years’ experience in handling various types of contracts and agreements including review, drafting, negotiation, post award contract administration and dispute resolution. Estimation experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and knowledge of estimation norms is preferable. Previous work site experience in technical and supervisory Capacities.
• Commercial and Contractual knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of project execution methodology.
• Strong editorial and analysis skills to express ideas and conclusions clearly and concisely.                           

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain deep technical knowledge of project execution methodology. Evaluate contracts, quotations and make legal/technical recommendations.
• Be commercially astute and shall be capable of taking up assignments in all aspects of contracts and project control including cost control.
• Advise Planning Department, Project Manager, and Operations Department about contractual rights and obligations.  Evaluate & monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts. Establish control procedures, standards and complete the assigned tasks within the stipulated time frame. Be focused on the needs of the customer/client and strive to exceed their expectations.
• Develop and maintain harmonious working relationship between subordinates and superiors.
