Lead Engineer Flawless QA/QC-Doha, Qatar

Madina Group of Companies, Doha-Qatar                Qualification: 

• Must have bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Diploma or equivalent in QA / QC Management and working knowledge of ISO 9001-2015.

Experience:

• More than 15 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or Power Generation industry. Minimum 5 years in (QA/QC lead position) Turnaround and Maintenance services. Preferably have experience in facilitation of Root Cause Analysis. Must have a sound understanding of how a QA/QC structure with embedded lessons learnt

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide the foundations of Flawless Turnaround Execution. Must have sound knowledge in client DEPs.
• Must have Basic knowledge about painting and insulation. Must be proficient in Flange management process and tightening techniques.
• Must have a sound understanding of how a QA/QC structure with embedded lessons learnt can provide the foundations of Flawless Turnaround Execution.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 8 Equivalent) and Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages and Must be capable of managing and executing QA/QC audits & Quality Plan. Must be capable of developing and interpreting the QA/QC related procedures and guidelines and actively pursue all staff to adhere to the QA/QC standards.
• Must be capable of training staff in QA/QC procedures. Must be able to develop reporting for QA/QC statistics, and KPIs. Must be familiar with the different welding techniques and its quality requirements and Welding approval procedures.
• Working knowledge of NDT requirements for Petrochemical or Power Generation industry.
• Must have working knowledge of AWS, ASME and ANSI codes. Must be capable to identify flaw mitigation and provide effective plan to implement the same.
• Capable to develop and implement the Flawless Turnaround program throughout the execution process.
