- Bachelor of Engineering in Refining/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum/ Gas/ Process from any HEC recognized Institution/ University.
- Valid membership of Pakistan Engineering Council.
Experience:
- Minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience with 05 years in LNG sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Examination of technical, operational, financial and commercial issues of the LNG sector.
- Examination of matters relating to policy and regulatory issues of LNG sector.
- Dealing with the matters relating to import of LNG.
- Monitor and analyze international price trends and contracting mechanisms.
- Collection and monitoring of data pertaining to LNG market.
- Matters relating to Third Party Access (TPA) in the gas sector (LNG terminals and Networks). Need based review of LNG contracts/agreements in the supply chain.
- Calculation and monitoring of LNG pricing mechanisms and forecasting while also providing assessments to monitor current and emerging regulatory practices and compliance benchmarks as well as existing status relating to functions and businesses of Petroleum Division and Regulator.
- Examination of matters relating to price, duty/tax structure, and related policies.
- Miscellaneous matters relating to coordination with other Ministries, Agencies, National Assembly, and Senate etc.
- Help legal team/advisor(s) in the legal / court matters.
