- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in relevant field of work.
- Strong proficiency with logistics and supply chain management software (ERP systems).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle the flow of information and data securely and confidentially.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that customer requirements are fully understood, recorded and attended to as per their expectations.
- Ensure proper coordination with the drivers by assigning them tasks on a timely manner.
- Ensure maximization /optimization of profits and resource utilization for profitability.
- Ensure maintenance of our fleet by having proper check list and logbook. Ensure that QHSE requirements, regulations of the country are fully understood and adhered.
- Engage in business development activities, customer relationship, key account management, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that jobs are registered and controlled from acceptance stage to closure & making sure documents related to shipment movements are filed in job folders.
- Co-coordinating between various stakeholders within the division and suppliers for meeting customer expectations and timely submission of job folders for invoicing & closing.
- Provide leave coverage for staff & taking up responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
