By Executives Network International for one of the major power sector companies of Pakistan responsible for the transmission of electricity from generation sources to distribution companies of Pakistan Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Experience:
- Post-qualification experience of minimum 8 years including at least 3 years of law practice and minimum of 3 years of dealing in corporate and regulatory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal services on matters involving regulatory bodies on behalf of the company and guide relevant departments in their interactions with such authorities as required
- Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of corporate and NEPRA laws and manage and cooperate matters assigned to external legal counsel on corporate and regulatory issues
- Oversee the quality of all services and deliverable produced by the corporate and regulatory affairs section, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with established policies and procedures
- Lead and manage subordinates officials and staff in executing delegated task including coordinating periodic performance appraisals and ensuring professional development
- Monitor and maintain the level of performance necessary to meet KPIs assigned by the Chief Law Officer
- Identify and communicate the technology needs of the corporate and regulatory affairs section to the CLO
