• General Nursing Diploma (03 Years)/ BSc-N/ MSc-N

Experience: 

• 8 to 10 years experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization’s infection prevention and control program. Develop, review, and update infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Ensure policies comply with regulatory requirements, Hospital standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Oversee surveillance activities related to healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and communicable diseases.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, potential outbreaks, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement comprehensive education and training programs for healthcare personnel on infection prevention practices. Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention.
• Ensure continuous assessment of program effectiveness.
• Lead the investigation and management of infectious disease outbreaks. Ensure compliance with local and state regulations related to infection prevention. Oversee and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship initiatives. Foster effective communication within the infection control team and across healthcare departments.
• Develop and review plans and protocols for managing infectious disease outbreaks or emergencies.
• Ensure the organization’s readiness for response during public health emergencies. Manage the allocation of resources for the infection prevention and control program.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of infection control activities.  Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership.
