Manager Procurement-Karachi

By Human Resource Solutions International (HRSI), Karachi for a  newly established clean energy company, Karachi        Qualification:

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution / equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Engineering, Management, Business Administration and / or any relevant field.

Experience:

• Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-5 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position. Experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts projects.
• Proficient in procurement software and systems.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implementation of the procurement strategy for the company’s renewable energy projects. 
• Responsible for sourcing materials, equipment and services from vendors both locally and internationally, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
• Ability to evaluate RFQ responses on a Total Cost of Ownership basis to ensure the selection of the most appropriate suppliers Build RFI/RFQs online through e-Tendering tool in consultation with project execution and technical team
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
• Monitor procurement costs, track budget expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance.
• Oversee procurement processes, from request to purchase, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
