• Bachelor’s Degree in IT Related Fields from HEC Recognized University/ Reputed Foreign University.      

Experience:

• minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing engineering support for IT Data Centre Storage & backup systems and Minimum of 3 years’ experience in enterprise storage infrastructure (EMC, IBM flash system, Huawei SAN, VERITAS Flex appliance container based & Tape Libraries).
• Minimum of 3 years Deployment & Configuration of Backup solutions like Veeam, Veritas & NetBackup solutions and Must have rich experience in Oracle, SAP Hana, MS SQL Server, Active Directory, Lotus Domino, Exchange & system state backups integration.          

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver a stable storage environment, which has 100% uptime and High Availability. Identify requirements and develop/deploy solutions for SAN environments.
• Function as the technical expert in storage system implementation, systems upgrade and systems integration. Install and configure SAN hardware and software. Thick & Thin provisioning. LUN’s creation & mapping, migration to Virtual & physical environment. IOP’s and performance optimization.
• Early detection of I/O degradation across tier, remediation, and identification of root cause. SAN configurations, logical and physical stripping, virtualizations, IOPS optimization.
• Early detection of I/O degradation across tier, remediation, and identification of root cause.
• Maintain Data center storage & Backup inventory. Performs documentation.
• Install critical updates and security patch to appliance
• Perform the functions of systems backup and recovery administrator, and data replication process owner.
