• BE / BSc Mechanical Engineering                               

Experience:

• 20+ Years of related experience of mega projects in the refining / petrochemical industry through FEED and EPC phases with 10+ years in a similar role. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of International design codes and standards, such as BS, BS EN, IEC, ASME, ISO, API, TEMA, IP, NFPA and engineering best practices

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the Project Engineering Team, provide technical advice and guidance to execute the project with a well-defined Engineering execution methodology within quality, budget and schedule.
• Responsible for steering basic design and detail engineering of process equipment during the FEED and EPC phases for Engineering Scope of the Project.
• Provide input to licensor equipment selection and specifications as needed during PDP development.
• Responsible for the development, review, compliance & implementation of engineering deliverables (including but not limited to Drawings, Calculations, Datasheets, Technical Specifications, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Schedules, MTO’s, Work Volumes etc.) in accordance with the best engineering practices, codes, project standards, specifications and QA/QC requirements.
• Provide technical advice, guidance and steer the work of external design resources, equipment vendors, and fabricators and apply and practice all HSEQ aspects from initiation till completion of the Project as per Company Policy and industry best practices.
• Manage field engineering aspects of the project. Maintain effective communication with FEED / EPC Contractors, Licensors, and other associated Contractors. Ability / acumen to foresee potential roadblocks / complex issues and implement timely solutions to avoid delays.
• Enable conducive environment and promote healthy interaction within the Project Team and External Colleagues, Senior Management, Contractors, Government Agencies / Authorities etc. to ensure seamless project progress.
