By IRD Global Health, Research and Development, Singapore for End TB Clinical Trial Qualification:
- MBBS (or equivalent) degree with Current registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC)
Experience:
- At least 1 years of clinical experience in an OPD setting with at least 6-months experience in managing patients with MDR-TB in a primary care context.
- Previous clinical trial or research experience. GCP training. Any other CITI training pertinent to Clinical Research .
Jobs Responsibilities:
- Undergo training in the trial protocol, procedures, GCP. Read and implement latest WHO guidelines as well as local guidelines on current best practices of RR Tuberculosis and other common co-morbidities.
- Conduct patient assessment and case reporting as per the protocol of the End TB-Q clinical trial being conducted on site.
- Perform patients detailed medical assessments in coordination with a research nurse, at every trial visit (and at unscheduled visits) to monitor clinical progress and to assess for adverse events, in accordance with the protocol and GCP. Assess patients’ needs and prescribe study drugs, ancillary drugs, and antiretroviral agents (if needed) to trial participants at each visit.
- Perform medical assessments and follow up visits of trial participants in in-patient setting when necessary.
- Complete Case Report Forms (CRF) and other trial documents in real time manually and electronically as and when needed.
- Plan monthly OPD schedule for patients, in coordination with other team members, update the team leads for any ad-hoc changes via appropriate channels of communication.
