- Bachelor/16 years of education in IT, Computer science duly recognized by HEC. Professional level certification in Oracle Database will be preference.
- Certification in Database Security will get preference.
Experience:
- Minimum 10-years post-qualification relevant professional experience on a comparable Position of Database Administrator.
- Database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Backup & Disaster Recovery Technologies using Conventional, RMAN, Active Data-guard and Golden-Gate etc.
- Installation, Upgrading, Patching management & Security of Oracle Database Single & RAC instances.
- Hands-on Linux Administration and Shell Scripting.
- MS SQL Server & MySQL will get preference.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administration & performance analysis for both the host & Databases. Oracle (RAC/Single Instance), Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL. Assist in data migration projects, database upgrades, and system integrations.
