For Kanoo Group LLC, Oman Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in Engine/ Heavy Equipment Parts Sales, inventory management and Planning. Good Knowledge on Perkins brand, CAT parts sales and inventory planning.
- Must have excellent inventory management skills, including the ability to manage stock levels, monitor usage, and identify opportunities to optimize inventory.
- Able to troubleshoot issues related to machinery spare parts and come up with practical solutions to resolve them.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage & Assist counter sales staff. Timely submission of quotations and follow up of presented offers.
- Log the orders in system and follow for timely delivery.
- Offer continuous feedback on order status to clients.
- Ensures that goods returned by a customer are only accepted with prior approval of the Manager and that credit notes or cash refunds and stock adjustments are arranged after approval of the Manager. Gather competitor’s information on pricing, delivery schedules, etc.
- Ensures that effective stock and inventory control systems and procedures are followed and maintained, and the computer stock systems are updated with receipts and issues.
- Ensures that clearing and forwarding of consignment(s) from Road /Airport/Seaport is arranged, the prompt delivery of consignment(s) in good condition and that quantity and specifications conform to the purchase order.
- Ensures that “Stock Accounting and Discrepancy Reports” for damaged stock is prepared and reported.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending online trainings provided by product manufacturers.
