Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect machinery and vehicles to identify any potential issues or damage.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Repair and replace faulty mechanical parts. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and manuals. Perform repairs, such as engine repairs, transmission repairs, and brake repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure that all machinery and vehicles operate at optimal performance.
- Utilize and maintain specialized tools and equipment, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols when using tools and equipment and Maintain and organize inventory and repair supplies and Record maintenance and repair activities in the maintenance log book.
- Provide accurate documentation regarding repairs and parts used and Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Identify and report any potential hazards or unsafe working conditions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance with maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with customers to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
