• Must have completed a structured post-graduate training program from a reputable institution and possess FCPS, FRCS, American Board or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

• At least 10 years teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution, with 10 years post terminal qualification level teaching and a minimum of 15 10 research publications in journals recognized jointly by HEC and PMDC with at least 5 of these publications in the last 5 years.   

Jobs Description:

• Will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and specified administrative activities.
• Will have the overall responsibility, as the Section Head, of their sectional service and academic strategic planning and its execution with the support of the hospital and academic management team to ensure seamless provision of the sectional service, academic and research commitments.
• The main task will be to work as part of the academic medical Centre team to ensure outstanding service with a teaching/learning environment as well as an environment that supports clinical service delivery and research.
