Project Director / Chief Investment Officer

For Ignite-National Technology Fund, Islamabad                    Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Finance / Business Administration / Information Technology / Project Management / Computer Science or allied discipline from universities/institutes recognized by HEC.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Public and/or Private Sector related to investment management, Venture Capital, Startup Investments, Strategic Management or related roles.
• Minimum of 2 years Experience in Venture Capital / Institutional Investments /Acceleration programs on senior management position will be given preference

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for shaping the fund’s investment strategy, managing its operations, and ensuring the efficient allocation of grants to startups. 
• Develop and execute the fund’s investment strategy in alignment with its mission and objectives.
• Provide visionary leadership, setting the fund’s strategic direction and ensuring its long-term sustainability and Oversee the evaluation of startup applications and make informed grant disbursement decisions, considering the recommendations of investment analysts and the advisory committee.
• Ensure that due diligence is conducted rigorously, aligning grant disbursements with the fund’s goals.
• Manage the fund’s financial resources, including budgeting, allocation of grants, and oversight of expenditures. Optimize the use of funds to achieve the fund’s mission efficiently. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.              
• Ensure that the fund operates in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Mitigate risks associated with fund operations.
