Alghanim International General Trading & Contracting, Kuwait Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is a must.
- CRPEP Grade A license. PMP certification or similar project management certification is desirable
Experience:
- 15 years of proven experience in Bridges & Infrastructure Projects.
- Previous experience with Ministry of Works. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Communicate project progress, address concerns, and manage expectations effectively. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with project specifications. Procurement and Contract Management: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, permits, and codes throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits. Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges. Provide accurate and timely information to facilitate decision-making and problem-solving.
- Safety and Environmental Compliance: Prioritize safety and environmental considerations throughout the project lifecycle. Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Change Management: Evaluate proposed changes to project scope, schedule, or budget and assess their impact on project objectives. Implement change management processes to control scope creep and minimize disruptions. Closeout and Handover: Ensure smooth project closeout and handover process, including final inspections, documentation, and client acceptance.
