By Institute of Business Administration, Karachi Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or relevant field from an HEC recognized institute.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying position for mid/large-scale projects.
- Skills: Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear reports for conveying complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people. Numerical and data analysis skills.
- Project management skills. Detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, processes, materials, business, and legal matters
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and analyze project costing for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labor, and time.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client, negotiate contracts and work schedules.
- Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction and Perform risk, value management, cost control during construction, and undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work and Advise on a procurement strategy.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
