- Matriculate or equivalent. Valid license or certification to operate heavy machinery or a reach stacker (preferred).
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in container handling or port operations (preferred). Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards related to container handling.
Jobs Description:
- Operate reach stacker equipment for loading and unloading containers from trucks, rail wagons, and storage stacks.
- Stack containers in accordance with terminal procedures and safety standards. Shift and relocate containers within the yard as directed by the Yard or Terminal Supervisor.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and promptly report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Handle containers carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately record and report container movements, when required
