Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to economic and policy research relating to Markets and Industry structures, and Regulatory Frameworks analysis.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research, engage in policy analysis, and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Conduct high quality research on various dimensions of health including health financing architecture (revenue collection, pooling, purchasing, provider payment mechanisms), assess equity, efficiency, and financial protection using available data (e.g., household surveys, NHA, claims data), health insurance and social protection, etc.
- Conduct high-quality research in respective specialization areas and contribute to theoretical and applied economics.
- Publish in HEC-recognized, high-impact journals and participate in national and international academic forums.
- Secure research grants and funding from national and international agencies. Engage in multidisciplinary research collaborations with domestic and international institutions.
- Provide expert advice to policymakers, government agencies, and development organizations in relevant fields. Ensure compliance with HEC policies, academic standards, and accreditation requirements.
