Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contributing to economic research in real estate and land economics, including the analysis of land markets, property rights, state-owned land, and regulatory frameworks affecting land markets in Pakistan. The candidate will conduct independent and collaborative research, engage in policy analysis, and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Conduct high quality research on various dimensions of health including health financing architecture (revenue collection, pooling, purchasing, provider payment mechanisms), assess equity, efficiency, and financial protection using available data (e.g., household surveys, NHA, claims data), health insurance and social protection, etc.
- Conduct high-quality research in respective specialization areas and contribute to theoretical and applied economics.
- Publish in HEC-recognized, high-impact journals and participate in national and international academic forums.
- Secure research grants and funding from national and international agencies. Engage in multidisciplinary research collaborations with domestic and international institutions.
- Provide expert advice to policymakers, government agencies, and development organizations in relevant fields. Ensure compliance with HEC policies, academic standards, and accreditation requirements.
