Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions-Doha, Qatar Qualification:
- ITI or Trade Apprenticeship. Candidates with Higher Secondary education and with minimum 4 years of experience as dimension controller in Shipyard or heavy fabrication industries also can be considered.
Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience as dimension controller in Shipyards or Heavy fabrication industries.
- Hands on experience on Total station and Auto level
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct Dimension Control Inspection activities in line with the QMS standards / procedures.
- Take dimension of structure after fit up and before release of final product and provide feedback to immediate supervisor and Monitor and report any issues and delays to supervisor promptly.
- Continual in process inspection to have minimal or zero re-work and Prepare dimension control report and submit to Project In charge. Facilitator for department’s drive for continual improvement.
- Motivate productive and safe performance of workers.
- Ensure all HSE and Quality aspects are met.
