• Bachelor of Architecture

Experience:

• 15 to 20 years of experience including Proficiency in Micro station, Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD and working knowledge of civil 3D is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and / or Blue beam. Excellent Excel skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Design and Construction Processes. Strong knowledge in the analysis of Extension of Time claims

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing drawings & sketches on AutoCAD for the project and Preparation of Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings and other sketches in 2-D/ 3-D for the project on AutoCAD whenever needed.
• Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Prepare diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow or work progress.
• Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team.
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.
• Reviewing contractors’ procurement schedule Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare difficult and complex layout and design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge and Performs complex drafting tasks efficiently and accurately both independently and as part of a team.
• Interprets and ensures conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Understands and utilizes more advanced software to complete assignments.
• Meets layout requirements and develops alternate design layouts as required and Reviews supplier data and supplier drawings, as required. Develops and reviews orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) drawings. Performs checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Provides input and technical guidance for mentoring lower-level Designers working on the same and other projects
