- Master of Medicine in Radiology from a recognized Institution with valid Registration from respective Medical Council and a valid practicing License
Experience:
- Minimum six (6) years of working experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, when sought, to clinicians on the appearance of a diagnostic image, within the clinical radiology practitioner’s scope of competency. Justify and perform radiographic examinations and analyses and interprets results to assist with diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Maintain clear lines of communication between all clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the delivery of a quality imaging service. Communicate information to patients in a manner that ensures their understanding and encourages compliance. Use clinical judgment and experience to ensure optimum imaging standards and patient care for individual cases as a specialist in own area of expertise. Maintain a high level of expertise in the safe operation of all x-ray and ultrasound equipment and manage faults effectively. Maintain patients’ records and confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies and statutory regulations.
