Jobs Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct risk-based audits and Develop audit projects and testing procedures relevant to risk and audit objectives and Develop the scope of the project audit under the supervision of the line manager.
  • Identify internal control issues for key risk processes in a timely manner to proactively avert losses.
  • Ensure completion of assigned/planned audit engagements from start to finish, including preplanning, fieldwork, and wrap-up activities and Identify tests of controls, substantive procedures, and walk-through tests to get in-depth knowledge of the project.
  • Perform audit procedures to verify the implementation and effectiveness of controls through testing and interacting with the relevant staff and Identify and communicate control issues noted, offering practical solutions relevant to business and related risks. Prepare and submit timely, quality audit reports; engage in meetings with management and departmental heads and advice on improvements.
  • Carry out spot checks on key areas of the expenditures, recruitments, organization’s policies, donor guidelines, a physical count of fixed assets, etc.
  • Manage audit files and maintain documentation of all audit procedures.
